About Smiths Chimney Sweep Co
A local chimney service built on careful work, honest advice and respect for your home.
Who we are
Smiths Chimney Sweep Co is a chimney sweeping and inspection business based at 2400 Frederick Ave #100, St Joseph, MO 64506. We help homeowners keep their chimneys, flues and fireplaces clean and in safe working order.
We know that a chimney is easy to forget until something goes wrong. Our job is to make upkeep simple: a clear appointment, a thorough clean, and a plain explanation of the results.
Quality you can see
Good chimney work depends on patience. We use proper rods and brushes sized to your flue, work from the top down, and check as we go rather than rushing to finish.
- Correct brush and rod for each flue type
- Floors and furniture protected before work starts
- A tidy site when we leave
- Findings explained clearly, with no pressure to buy extras
- Safety equipment and secure rope work on the roof
Our promises to customers
Be straight with you
If your chimney is fine, we say so. If it needs repair, we explain why and what the options are.
Respect your home
Soot is messy by nature. Our setup and clean-up are designed to keep it off your belongings.
Stand behind the work
If you are not happy with something, call us and we will put it right.
Customer satisfaction comes first
Most of our work comes from neighbours recommending us to neighbours, so every visit matters. We ask for your feedback after each job and use it to improve how we work.
Have a question before you book? Call us and talk to a real person who knows chimneys.
